Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) is the owner of the electricity transmission and distribution networks in Northern Ireland, transporting electricity to 910,000 customers including homes, businesses and farms.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Network Operations Systems team as an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Engineer. The successful applicant will report directly to the Network Operations Systems Manager.
The Network Operations business unit is responsible for the real and near time monitoring and operation of Northern Ireland’s distribution network, as well as our Emergency Plan to deal with significant network events. Planned and Fault & Emergency work is coordinated via the 24 x 7 Distribution Control Centre (DCC) and Dispatch functions, using a variety of systems owned by the Network Operations Systems and SCADA teams.
