James Humphries, current Business Management Student Placement: “It is a very exciting time to have a placement opportunity with NIE Networks. The electricity industry is ever-evolving with the introduction of low carbon generation and low carbon technologies such as electric vehicles.
The decarbonisation of the energy sector is forecast to create significant growth in technologies and in turn requiring major changes in how the electricity industry manages and operates the network.
This will bring significant challenges for NIE Networks as the demands and needs of the electricity network are changing but this opens up an array of opportunities for aspiring young people to get involved so I would definitely recommend a placement to others.”
If you are interested in these opportunities please submit your CV and Cover letter detailing which placement opportunity you are interested in and how you meet the criteria no later than 11pm on Monday 22 May 2023.
