NIE Networks expects to restore power supplies to the remaining 159 customers by midnight.

Engineers continued working throughout the night to repair damage to the network caused during Storm Isha and Storm Jocelyn.
At its height, 53,000 customers were without supply during the worst weather event experienced by the company in over a decade.
Additional resources from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks worked alongside their local counterparts to fix faults and restore supply.
Over coming days, some customers will lose power for a short period as repair work is carried out in isolated areas.
A spokesperson for NIE Networks said:

"Our message to our customers today is to make contact with us if you remain off power. Remember to consider additional properties, holiday homes or vacant premises."
"We also ask people to check on relatives and neighbours, particularly in remote parts, to make sure they are back on supply or to inform us if power hasn’t yet been restored."
"NIE Networks worked at full capacity, often in difficult situations, to deal with the challenges caused by the storms and we wish to thank all our customers for their patience during this time."

NIE Networks once again want to remind the public to maintain safety around any damaged electricity equipment and never approach a broken pole or overhead power line.
Customers can call our Customer helpline on 03457 643 643 or visit for further updates on their individual faults.
