Code of Ethics
NIE Networks is committed to doing business safely, honestly, legally and ethically. Our Code of Ethics sets out the behaviours expected from all our people. The underlying principle of the Code is that we will strive to perform our duties in accordance with the highest standards of safety, integrity, loyalty, fairness and confidentiality and that we will comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. All third parties with whom we do business are also expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the principles enshrined in the Code.
Prevention of Fraud, Bribery and Corruption
NIE Networks takes a zero tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and is committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships wherever it operates and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery. Our Anti Bribery and Corruption Policy sets out the Company’s approach and what is required of, and providing guidance to, employees and management. The policy applies to all individuals working at all levels within the Company, and also consultants, contractors and agents acting for the Company.
Prevention of Modern Slavery
Our Policy on Modern Slavery sets out our zero tolerance approach to Modern Slavery and to implementing and enforcing systems and controls to ensure that it is not taking place within our business or in any of our supply chains. Our Contractors and suppliers must conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the principles enshrined in the policy. Whistleblowing Arrangements
NIE Networks has arrangements in place whereby employees can safely raise a concern about a serious malpractice or wrongdoing in the workplace - set out in the Whistleblowing Policy - The arrangements also apply to agency staff, trainees, consultants and contractors while working for the company. Asset Management
NIE Networks’ Asset Management Policy sets out our commitment to the development and maintenance of a safe and secure electricity network, through the application of a robust and auditable asset management system.
